In active response to the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality initiatives, Shandong Jingpu, committed to building a green energy system, has further intensified its development of clean, low-carbon energy sources such as solar thermal utilisation and photovoltaic power generation. By overcoming developmental barriers across technology, models, strategy, and energy efficiency, the company has pioneered diversified solar applications. Solar engineering, flat-plate collectors, enamelled water tanks, and photovoltaics advance in tandem, comprehensively expanding the new frontier of clean energy. The completion of the 2000kW photovoltaic power generation project at Linyi Qiwei Canned Food Co., Ltd. vividly exemplifies Jingpu's accelerated advancement in solar energy industrial upgrading and its energy-saving and carbon-reduction initiatives.
Upon commissioning of this photovoltaic power generation project, Qiwei Company will achieve monthly electricity savings of 200,000 kilowatt-hours, translating to cost reductions of ¥144,000. Annual electricity expenditure savings exceed ¥1.7 million, alongside conserving 800 tonnes of standard coal equivalent and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2,392 tonnes.
For many years, Jingpu has consistently championed the advancement of photovoltaic power generation systems. By introducing state-of-the-art photovoltaic module production equipment from around the world, the company has established a photovoltaic module production line with an annual output capacity of 200 megawatts. Actively participating in photovoltaic poverty alleviation initiatives, Jingpu has undertaken the nation's largest-scale photovoltaic poverty alleviation project, generating annual sales exceeding 600 million yuan. The company has constructed over 20,000 ‘photovoltaic villages’, making significant contributions towards building a low-carbon, energy-efficient society.
